VICTORY
2010
household objects, silk
100cm x 250cm x 100cm

The work was produced for an exhibition called "Chị Tôi". It's the name of a song in praise of an older sister's sacrifice for her family. I collected the household objects and built these things up in order to initiate " The victory monuments " - like outdoor sculpture; and to re-create the familiar image of the general in chief on his horse from all the things and tools above. This is exactly my point of view about the role of female in family and society - VICTORY.
