Block of Silence is the project which marks of fashion designer Nguyen Cong Tri 20th year in fashion. The exhibition is a combination of fashion and contemporary art of the largest scale in Vietnam. The show recreate the journey of silence, patience and uncompromising detail of the Cong Tri's collections from No.1 to No.10 through a contemporary lens of ten artists from Vietnam and abroad.
My works get the inspiration from his No.1 collection-WHITE. “The story of self-reflection within the young novice” is the starting point of the works. Pure whiteness is the first meeting point of the dialogue between the artist and the designer. The viewers will enter the world of memory and psychological investigation initiated by Nguyen Cong Tri and Ngo Dinh Bao Chau. |
