A graduate of Ho Chi Minh City’s Fine Arts University, Ngo Dinh Bao Chau is an artist whose work across disciplines is rooted in daily life obsession. Her diverse practice spans painting, drawing, installation, sculpture, sculptural objects, sound, often created in collaboration with artisans. For her, everyday-life spirit relates to our existence, behavior, beliefs, routine, individual and collective, timeline. Her works have strongly connected art and function, architectonic elements, collective memories.

She combines the original nature of an object or phenomenon with her imagination to re-conceptualize them in her own way of interpretation.
